Banco Espírito Santo has adopted a conflict of interest policy in the ambit of financial intermediation activities. This policy can be referred to on this website or sent to an email address or postal address upon a customer's request.
In summary, this policy states that: |

 The bank offers diverse financial instruments to a wide range of customers and counterparts.

One of the Bank's objectives when organising its financial intermediation activities on offer is the prevention of conflicts of interest and, when they arise, their effective management and mitigation.
|
|
The financial intermediation activities carried out simultaneously by the Bank or its Group that may give rise to conflicts of interest are regularly surveyed, and the procedures deemed the most adequate in ensuring their prevention or mitigation are established.

This Policy falls within the scope of and complies with the requirements set forth in the MiFID - Markets in Financial Instruments Directive.
