Miguel Morais Alçada

Graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon. Postgraduate the same Faculty in 1977/78. Assistant at the Law Faculty of Lisbon from 1977 to 1990. Beginning of his banking activity as a lawyer in 1976 in BES and later in former BCI and in former BPSM. From 1993 to 2014 he held successively Legal Officer functions, Director of Legal Counsel and Advisor to the Executive Committee in BANIF, SA. Since August 2014 Member of the Board of Banco Espírito Santo, SA. Appointed Chairman of the Board of BANIF, resolved by decision of the Bank of Portugal at 20.12.2015, in accumulation as Member of Banco Espírito Santo, SA' Liquidation Committee. Appointed Member of BES Liquidation Commission since July 2016.

Joana Soares Martins

Liquidation Committee Member

Degree in Management from the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa of Lisbon.    Has made technical work and project coordination in the banking sector between 1993 and 2004 at the company Arthur Andersen (now Deloitte & Touche Portugal). Manager in Banco Privado Portuguese, SA (currently in Liquidation), with responsibility for coordinating since 2008 the legal team (composed of the Bank's staff and people hired for rendered services) and supervising the work performed by external advisors. Appointed Member of BES Liquidation Commission since July 2016.
